Gender imbalance: My game has mostly males (or females). How do I get more baby girls (or boys)?

The gender of children born in the game is random, and there is sometimes a gender imbalance as a result. Usually the imbalance is corrected over time as the population grows. If the desired gender of baby is not produced by your villagers, there are several Island Events that can bring additional villagers to your tribe.
